BIOGRAPHY

Patrick Yu has wasted no time in getting known around
Beijing’s underground dance scene. Fueled with a passion
for everything musical, he is persistently trying to push
new sounds and establish Beijing as a true home for
electronic dance music. Born in the States, his music has
developed into a dubby, sexy, funky, soulful, quality house
and breaks selection that is ever evolving and never fails
to provide a distinctive party vibe. Not being constrained
by any boundaries and playing only music that is dear to
his heart, he is trying to bring Beijing’s scene to a more
fun and substantial place for nightlife. Patrick is also one-
half of Blink Events, a promotions group that puts on concerts
and parties around Beijing. They are bringing to focus a
distinct combination of strong concepts with quality music.
The combination has proved strong, with such events as
Sundays On Top, the Notch Music Festival and Slide
(Beijing’s first 3D Visual Party), just to name a few. Being so
involved in the local scene has developed quickly over a
short period of time, and will continue to go strong for the
time to come.
